what are the costs of goin h22a?
hey whats up i have a 4th gen accord lx with 5speed tranny and was wondering about the jdmclub cause i want to do the h22a swap but dont know what about customs and the shipping to home how much does it really cost to do all that. If some one can please tell me that has had the experience. Thanks!!!
Yeah in the end expect to pay close to $5,000 if you have someone do the swap.
The motor will end up to be around 2,500 after customs and shipping it to your shop or home. You can always pick it up your self and save the money.
He sells really good motors that come very complete, but the whole customs thing and picking it up was not a headache I wanted to deal with.

$2300 for the engine....and then approximately $200-250 more for several fees. Geologistics in L.A. will ask for $98 in port and documentation fees, you have to send them a money order when they send you the arrival notice. Next you go to customs, I paid $42 for one and $51 for the other. from there I went to the freight company to pay their warehouse fee of $40. i have bought 2 h22a's from mark and they are both great engines.
i wouldnt know
shipping is included in the cost of the engine....
as i said in the post above...
do people want posted receipts or something?
btw i live in houston
