Does anyone know how hard it would be to replace this piece. I have a 96 ls. Didnt relize till tonight that it seems to have gone out. I have had a problem with what seemed to be a short in the dash lights but that went away. If someone has the factory manual and this is an easy job let me know. I will find a manual somewhere and replace it myself.

 

Take off the plastic shroud around the steering column. The mounting screws for that switch should be pretty obvious, I had mine out a long time ago.

All the airbag wiring is in a bright yellow harness. Don't mess with that so you don't set off the airbag.
