Default RSX-S Parts

Hello everybody, i havn't been on this board for awhile...

But i used to love the RSX, i thought it was amzing, no doubt it still is... but where the heck is the aftermarket support, all i c is the same stuff liek 1 yr ago... wit the exception of a better revhard turbo.. the hks one didn't come out, neither did that one other one.. why is that? it pisses me off? partially y i want teh EVO 8 now, they made stuff before the car even came out, waht a beaty... but in the beggingin every company had parts for the suby wrx, but none for the RSX-S...

I understood, the rsx-s was a brand new car and it had i-vtec... but 2 yrs down the line, they still have the same thing, i mean that pisses the **** outa me.. can somone give me a reason why their after-market support isn't graet... i mean the car's awsome.. so i dont get it..

Instead of complaining why don't you go out and start manufacturing parts for it?

Dude the b series engine has been out for so long I can't remember, thats why it has such a following with the aftermarket. It was the first widely used and easily tuned engine, and it sort of started up the market. Like you said the k series engine is about two years old, give it time.

I really had a hard time reading that post, but you can't compare it to the wrx. they have been using similar cars for a while now. The rsx is pretty new design. I think what is out is hella tight.

I think that there is a standard product line (i/h/e etc.), but I don't know why there isn't a lot of products out there either. Is their anything specific that you are looking for? Maybe the people that have not come out with parts are testing and tuning a whole lot so they can get the most power out of it :naughty:.

There are numerous choices for intakes, exhausts, and a few for the header. As for suspension parts, you have numerous springs and bars to choose from. The only thing that's really lacking right now is the replacement shocks. Only Koni has released their shocks, but the front are just inserts. But you could get coilovers instead.

Let's not forget the Hondata upgrade, which I suppose is meaningless right now if you're running nitrous, but if you're running NA, it's a must-buy.

What is it exactly you're looking for? Based on what you wrote, I'm going to assume that you're looking to go FI. In that respect, then you're right, the turbo aftermarket for the RSX isn't big at all. I think there's only 2 available kits available right now: Cybernation and Revhard. But in due time...

They really do need to start working on more aftermarket products for it. I think the aftermarket companies will make a fortune as well as Acura selling more RSX's since the aftermarket support for these cars will be there

Congrats on the new RSX is it a Type S? If so, get used to high 14's if you can drive. If not, your saving grace is the lower compression for potential forced induction. As for where to obtain parts...try

www.modacar.com They've got selections for many vehicles.

Also, try the sponsors on this forum, or the for sale forum on this board. Good luck.
