Default a-2000

I have had an Aladdin a-2000 for about 6 months now on a 94 LS, manual tranny as well.

Initially, my brain was dead (the main control unit), and i got it replaced (lifetime warranty as i understand it) by calling PME (Progress Mobile Electronics).

check out www.gopme.com. i think its got the functions and stuff on it. manual is there too. also a new one is on there, the lynx, but i dunno anything about it, except the feature set is better.

personally, i think its a great cheap alarm/remote start for manual tranny. compustar is amazing, basically the same feature set minus auxilaries i think plus double the cost at least (they require installation done by a shop) and range is better with compustar.

cons - range isn't as great as i expected (trees, hills, and of course buildings cause interference), remote lcd looks corny, and it gets scratched easily.
