..without having to remove the entire cover? if so, any step-by-steps? this would make my life a whole lot easier (or would it be easier just to remove the entire cover?). thanx.

yes it is.. and it's easy to take apart the bottom half once the cover is off..

it's back on the car again.. funny though, i cleaned up the bumper, so the entire integra is dirty, except for the front bumper which is a shiny deep black.. h:

nope, to install a lip (the piece on the left, in the second pic).. the piece on the right is the bottom half of the stock cover; and the first pic is self-explanatory (top half).

hahaha.. yes, yes it is.. h:

airon, i actually did mount the lip with the cover still on, but the sides weren't sitting right (there are mount points there too, but i would have to drill through the cover).

so.. about 2.5 yrs ago, i got rear-ended and pushed into an SUV. the SUV's exhaust pierced a hole in my front bumper. although the shop did a nice job of of fixing everything up; i always wondered if everything was mounted just right (the rear bumper wasn't aligned correctly, had to realign it after i got it back from the shop).

anyway, since i had to drill those holes anyway, i decided to do what i've wanted to do for years, to take the cover off. yes, i'm OCD h:..

anyway, i brought the bumper inside, took everything apart, cleaned it up nice.. drilled the holes (to my pleasant surprise, honda made little marks on where to drill), attached the lip; and put everything back together.

and you know what? the shop hadn't attached the bottom piece correctly to the top piece. it's hard to explain; it wasn't anything severe, but still.

redGSRguy, no pics yet; i'll take some when the entire car is clean.
