Default DC Sports Cat Back ( ?? )

Hows everyone like the DC Sports Cat back? My 00' GSR is limited in the exhaust department due to a change in piping bettween 99 - 00' years.

I still dont know if Im getting the JDM 4-1 with 2.5" collector. If I dont I might go with a nice Free Flow Cat, and a decent Cat back exhaust.

Is it really loud or not to bad. Supposedly the DC Sports Cat back isnt that loud. But yes I am interested. Lemme know the details, maybe we can work something out.

I'm pretty positive it is the entire cat back, like i said i bought the car with it so i'm not 100% sure. Its not really loud but its still "Aftermarket sounding" which is not for me. I've heard many exhaust that are much louder than the DC Sports one though. So yes it isnt that loud

Trust me on this one.

I have had my dc sports exhaust for a while now and that sucker isnt loud at all. unless you start ripping on it then you'll get a nice clean vroooommmm! Also i have had cops right on my tail following me home and i have not once gotten pulled over for it, trust me you wont. Ohh and make sure you get that high flow cat when u get the exhaust you dont want to end up later haveing a bottle nect for an exhaust.

I heard rumor that If I throw a free flow cat on Ill get my check engine light. Which would annoy the snot out of me. IS this fact or just a freak incident?

To complete my ( I/H/E ) Im looking at the following mods..

DC Sports Cat back
Random Technologies Free Flow Cat
DC Sports Stainless 4-1

Then I'll start messing with Cams , V-AFC's , ect...

you're not limited on exhaust choices any more that anybody with a '94-'01 LS is.

any exhaust that's made to fit a 3rd gen LS, GS, SE will bolt on to an '00-'01 GS-R perfectly.

yeah, but I hear good things about the DC Sports...I say go for it.
