I think i found oem integra body kit?
Ok I got my tax return money burning a hole in my pocket as usual, but I decided that I wanted to find an oem body kit for my GSR. Well after many calls to local dealerships I was cleary informed that these kits were all bought out. One of the parts managers told me to try ebay so boom i found oem side skirts and a front lip. I just won the bid on the front lip for $119. Not to bad if its authentic...hence my current dillema... I have never purchased anything on ebay before so now im feeling a little scared. I dont know if the pic will show up but her is how it was labeled.. so should i be worried?

They could always do the bait and switch on you although most places are reputable, especially if they are a shop. They will not want to have their name tarnished. I have bought many things from E-Bay and have never had a problem. If it is a bougus thing you can report them to E-Bay. Tell us how it goes.

maybe i am wrong, but i thought that the oem kits came painted from the factory?
you get what you paid for
if those are the pics from the auction, then I thinks it spoileretc or spoilerdepot, can't remember which.
I was wandering if they're legit oem lips so i email a couple of past winners (seeing they've sold so many lips should be a hint already). They all said that those are NOT oem lips. But they do fit well and are made of abs plastic.
So let us know what the fit is really like cause I want to pick one up very soon.

The name of the shop selling it is SIR Spoilers out of Edmonton, Alberta. He wants another $119 for painting, but i figured i could paint it myself and do my stock side skirts as well. My next question is ... can you rent compressor to paint or should i think about breaking down and buying my own?

See that is somthing im worried about too.. supposedly the oem kits are made with some sort of process where the color is injected while molding is taking place... I really dont mind that too much since i cant paint them im just worried that it wont fit right or look really cheap....that old saying my dad constantly says in rattling in my head

That's not really true.
All the OEM Body Kits did come prepainted in an OEM Integra color, but not by "injecting" them into the plastic or whatever. They were simply painted, just like the rest of your car, or your bumpers.
If it's not painted, I'd bet that it's a fake.
Now, if it's primered and was originally a different color -- they just primered it to sell it to a wider audience, then that'd be a different story. I think that's unlikely though.
