The sub box is fiberglass and mdf. I'm not sure of the specifics.
I got a deal on it since I was doing some other stuff too.

I think they go for about $200-$300 ?

$200 or $300 would be great. I have been quoted a price of $700 from one shop and $850 from another, just because of the fiberglass. $300 is the lowest price I received for a plain mdf box installed. Any way, I really like the look of your box. Btw, what size is that?

I know you used an Alpine hu and kept the factory, but after working on the car, do you see any possibility of replacing the factory hu? It's kind of redundant to have 2 head units. But it does look like it would be impossible to just replace the factory head. What do you think?
