Maintenance light
The yellow "Maintenance Required" light flashes after starting the car. It goes out about 10 seconds later. I have 6,157 miles on the car so far. Is this light a reminder for an oil service or does it indicate something else? I changed the oil about 1500 miles ago.

Read the owner's manual, it will show you how to reset the light so it will go off. If you don't, later on, it will stay on if you do not reset it.
