Default Thoughts on a new laptop

I ordered it but i still have time to cancel ... just thought i'd see what HAN thinks

Dell Inspiron 14 - $497 shipped

14" hi def (720p) LED screen
Vista Home premium 64 bit - with free upgrade to windows 7
Intel wifi link n-draft wireless
320gb SATA drive
Mobile Intel 4500MHD video
integrated 1.3mp camera
6cell battery
Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz / 800Mhz FSB / 2MB cache
3GB SDRAM 800mhz
8x DVD dual layer burner

havent had a machine for a good 2 years now ... getting tired of just having my work laptop. this a decent machine for the price, no?

Its a good cheap one too! We bought a similar one for Mar's grandpa. Works great and does the job. It's not a graphics poewhouse, but unless you absolutely need it, it will do most anything you need it to pretty well. Good choice.

Should be more than adequate. If you're gonna mob around with it, I'd reccomend an extended battery though

i prefer a more powerful video card and willing to pay the price in cost, heat, shortened battery life. also i like above average lcd for laptops but that's just me.

not bad for the sub $500 price.

Looks pretty good for under $500. Should treat you great for what you want it for.
