Default HP Laptops

I've had the most awful experience with my mom's so far. She needed a new laptop, I found a great Acer perfect for her on tiger direct. Cheap too. Under 400. But she bitched about not having the money. Fast forward a month, Staples talked her into buy this piece of shit Pavilion that
A: was way more then what I showed her.
B: They talked her into a printer that she'll never even use.
C: Has crap on here that she will never. ever. EVER. use.

I've been emailing HP back and forth for two days now trying to figure out why the effing webcam doesn't work directly from the god damn factory.

Fuck hp. And their moms.

I just love it.. she always relies on me for her technical fixes and crap. And when I point out to her exactly what she needs.. she goes off on her own and pisses her money away. :shifty:

Never had any problems with HP's my pavillion DV4000 laptop is still going strong, as well as a P3 desktop I bought like 7-8 years ago (gave it to my parents). First thing I did to both was format and install my own copy of winXP, get my own drivers and they work great. It's all the shitty pre-loaded software that comes on them now. HP's are fine

My brother has an Acer, and it has really impressed me too. Minus all the pre-loaded garbage.
