I need to get the pants hemmed or whatever.

 

1. i think i have 3 full suits. but i have a total of 8 jackets/blazers ranging from wool, cotton, linen, and cords. also have about 5 separate suit/dress pants

2. a pair (don't have any 3pc suits) usually runs about $500. jackets are anywhere from $150 - $350. pants range from $75 - $200.

3. two suits are from BR and one is from Express. the rest, whether jackets or pants, are either from the same places or like CK or JCrew

i've gotten about 90% of said items custom tailored, costing no more than $25 (avg of $12-15) from things ranging from shortening pants, slimming a jacket to shortening sleeves. i advise people to get things tailored no matter how small the job

Oh. I also have a tux that was about 250. Don't remember the brand or where I got it.
My suit is a decent brand, but I don't remember the name. Its supposed to be like 350-400, iirc

I see no need to spend more than that on a suit or tux when you are in college.

 

I have a horrible sense of fashion. It is for my friend's wedding. I am probably going to get black. And I would probably want to get something that is versatile ...wedding...interviews...:dunno:

I would be getting EVERYTHING new: jacket, shirt, tie, pants, belt, shoes... BR a good place to buy?

4. not really. I have an odd size and in order to get the suit to fit my shoulders, I need to get a bigger suit, so it looks kinda big on me. Next time I get a suit, I'm going to a real tailor so they can fix it right.
