Default spark plug socket

tried to change out my plugs, but the plug needed the 13/16" socket which doesnt fit into the spark plug hole... anybody else run into this problem for their b16? I went to kragen adn they said look for a thin-wall version of the socket but sears says craftsmen doesn't even make one... any advice would help...

Either carefully grind one to fit, or pony up for Snap-On.

My plug socket is 5/8" and I've used it on my Y8 and my cousin's B18A. I can't see how a B16 would need a different sized plug socket. Have you tried a 5/8" plug socket?

I personally wouldn't run a platinum plug, but it looks like you'll need to spring $23 for the Snap-On:
