No, not the DSC. That's the lowest model components MB makes. Try and get atleast the DSD series.

Rainbows are pretty good. I herd the lower line and almost bought them. To me sounded better than the lower jl's but thats jsut my opinion. The next step up from the bottom is supposed to make a fair difference.

I ended up getting the Rainbow 6.5's for $99 here's the model#SLX265.02 The lower lind Rainbows are the IQ Line, these are the Dream Line. I called my buddy who's a big time audio/electronics dude and he damn near choked when I told him the Rainbows were going for $99 for a 6.5" component set. He said they are a big time player in car audio in Germany and they are a good quality product(this means alot coming from him cause he's a firm believer in "American made" ) But he said I'd be a fool if I didn't get em, so I got em. Hell, they costed me $50 less than the Type R's and they are a better match for my amp as far as power is concerned and they are alot more effecient than the type R's which will hopefully mean a better, richer, fuller sound. I'll let you guys know just how good they are when I get them and install them.

So the dreamlines are good shyt huh? Yeah, I have heard good things about Rainbow, they aren't a household name cause they are relatively high end so they aren't a popular like JL Audio and Fosgate. I can't wait to get em, once I do, im gonna get busy and install them bad boys, they should sound night and day better than my current fronts, Kenwood XR600 6 1/2" DualMags. We'll see. I think I might get brave and attempt to install the tweets in the sail panels:naughty:

Don't worry about being brave, installing the tweets in the sail panels is real easy, depending on how you want to mount them. Running the wire is no prob cuz you can just follow your mirror wires right up to there. I mounted using the angled kit that came with my infinitys so it kinda sticks out a little bit but oh well. If you go that route its as easy as drilling like 2 holes. If you want to flush mount it, well, that might take some more time and planning and involve a dremmel tool.

On a scale of 1-10, one being the worst, ten being the best, where do the Rainbow dreamline components rate?
