Default Squealing tires! Drives me nutz.

I have the stock tires on my type-s and everytime I start from a stop light I think someone is racing me. I came to find out that I am the dumb ass. I don't rev it up at all, my tires just like to spin I guess. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hhahah, it's so true, everytime you stop and go anywhere, you squeal them, I laugh . What was really funny was when you would do it and we wouldn't realize and look around, like you said .

Yeah, the paint stripe is slick. We do that all time as well. We are going to replace the tires this spring just haven't made up my mind as of yet. Going with either 225/50/16 or 225/45/17 depending on how bad Uncle Sam hits me tax wise.

Potenza S-03's, bro...easily the best all around summer tire you can buy for the RSX. I had the stock 205/55/16 and they improved performance greatly...I was shocked how much better the performance was. Braking, acceleration, handling, road feel, steering feel, comfort...everything went up.

On a side note, how could you not feel your tires slipping? h:

Are you slamming on the gas right off the start? Or do you let the clutch out pretty quick? Cause that has not happened once in my g/f's RSX only when we want it too. Every time I've driven it, its only chirped when shifting from 1st to 2nd @ 8k rpm, and when I actually try and launch it at a stop light I have a little spin. :werd:

yeah they shouldn't be spinning unless you're trying...I don't know what the problem could be
