Default Recommendation for 6.5" Front Speakers?

Anybody have any input as to a particular speaker from personal experience? I'm happy with the Alpines I have in the rear, but really can't crank the stereo for the worry of blowing the OEM front speakers.

I don't want to spend over $400.

Boston Acoustics Pro Series 6.5" Components can easily be talked down to under $400. List is $449.

JL makes I think XR series components for $349.
