Default J32 Swap?

Trying to go the route not taken. Given the engine bay obviously accepts the J30, and given that I A) Can find the engine and transmission (6-speed, of course) and B)Find the neccessary equipment, how difficult would it be? See signature for car details.

Apparently the I4 and V6 versions of the Accord have differently sized engine bays, so some metal cutting might be needed to fit a J32 into your 4 banger sized car

all the measurements put the external dimensions of i4 and v6 accords the same. the real problem is inside the engine bay. if you have an i4 you are going to spend a LOT of money to prep it for the v6, i would not do the swap unless you are starting with a v6 car....or unless you got a LOT of money to spend and dont worry about costs.

yeah since you have a i4 , your engine bay was made smaller to correctly fit the f23a. if you had the j30, the j32 would be really easy to install since they're both the same kind of engine except one is .2 bigger in displacement.

Why not just buy the CL-S. O its ugly and the Accord Coupe is not. True.

I think the CL-S looks . Sounds like a costly, but unique swap. tell us how it goes.

i think engine bay is identical except engine mounts. because basically honda designed the 6gen platform to equip v6 and i4 engines. it makes sense for them to just make the chassis same and do little modification to each i4 and v6 because it saves manufacturing costs.
also, if you compare two cars, you can see that i4 has shizload of empty space in the engine bay. inside dimension is same as well as exterior dimension.
my guess is that in order to do j32, you would have to pretty much take everything out (engine, battery, fluid reservoirs, etc) and just straight up replace with v6 stuffs.
good luck, i'm predicting it will be at least $5000 project.

i think maybe another valid option would be to get j30 and maybe increase the displacement with custom parts, and then try to get j32's tranny. i'm sure j32 and j30 share a common tranny. well, that's gonna cost more probably. so if you wanna be unique, why not put 2 engines? like that tiburon in texas. imagine 2 - d16 (from civic) engines with turbo on them. total displacement will be same.:naughty: hehe, now that would be some freaky accord.
