Default RSX-S Exhaust

I wondering what a good cat back system for a '03 RSX-S would be? I'm currently looking at the CompTech and the Veilside Titanium TearDrop.

Once the weather turns and it's nice out again I am going with the Thermal Research Classic. Too damn cold out right now, my garage is full of bath remodeling supplies for the house.

It seems the two most popular for the RSX are the Thermal R&D and the CompTech

I would go with the Comptech if you have the money. it has the nicest look IMO, and a very nice sound. Plus, it's Comptech...some Acura dealers stock their stuff.

Speaking of which... would adding lets say a catback exhaust void dealer warranty? I mean I know if it does you can swap for stock b4 heading to the dealer, but its too much hassle. Same ? with intake. Thanks.

If you can get your hands on Fujitsubo, that is a great exhaust, I gained 9hp to the wheels with their Power Getter exhaust. With just intake and exhaust I dynoed at 192hp to the wheels (corrected).

OK looks like the CompTech is the one I'm going with, Since CompTech is sponsored by Acura and I'm getting one of my buddies to put it on (he works at Acura) He said it will not void the warranty.

No exhaust will void your warranty. If he says the others will, I'd imagine you're buying it from him and he has money to make.

I know that no exhaust will void the warranty as I'm sure the warranty doesn't cover exhaust to begin with as it's a normal wear and tear item.

Misunderstood: I meant will putting ANY aftermarket exhaust void dealer warranty on engine and drivetrain. Like will they refuse to make a repair under warranty on the engine because they see an aftermarket exhaust system and say, "well, thats not stock, that could've caused the problem". And refuse to fix?
