Default You know whats really cool?

So both the batteries in my truck died on me on Friday, so I have spent the weekend just walking around town and working around the house which was kind of a nice change for me (usually gone most weekends fishing or kayaking).

So today I get a call asking if I could come in and give a hand at the shop I was working at and get some packaging done for shipping. I told them I was SOL until a check came through today because of the batteries. Couple hours later they give me a call back and ask if I got it figured out, I was still without the money to do it so I told them until I get the batteries I am out and had to skip an interview because of it.

20 minutes later I get another call from them that they were going to buy me a new pair of batteries and deliver them to my house this evening (50+ miles from the shop) and if I was able to come in it was cool but not an issue if I still couldn't make it.

I just thought that was pretty cool and just one of many reasons I am going to miss working for them

That's pretty swell. My weekends are usually pretty planned out with people calling me up to go out, etc. I always find it nice when I have time to just chill at home

Side note, the battery in my truck died and I'm getting a free one

Wow.. sounds like a great place to work for.. other than it being so far away. Both batteries?? You leave you lights on or have a constant drain?

No I had an alternator failure last year just before winter and they got drained a bit. Took them over to Les Schwab and they recharged them and told me they were good to go for at least the next three years (according to their tests ) So I figured I would run them for another year and then swap them out come fall...didn't make it that far and they were further gone than I had been led to believe.
