Default Axle and transmission fit???

I have a 93 civic DX 4dr with a s20 tranny. I need to replace it and I wanted to put an EX tranny in it but I need to know if my axles will still fit because I saw somewhere that they have different bearing sizes. I just don't want to put a tranny in and find out I need axles when mine aren't bad.

Is there any reason you want to do this? The gearing will be quite different, might as well save your money and get a more performance oriented setup.

I believe they are the same axles for all D-series civics. An easy and faster way to find this kind of thing out in the future would be to cross reference the parts on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com Look up the driveshaft for a non-abs EX and a DX. They have the same part number

Sweet thanks guys I did end up looking up the parts on the internet to find out they fit. I want to put in the EX tranny for the gearing. I just had a fresh d15b7 swapped in to replace the old one that had more problems than I care to type out LoL. I now have a cracked housing on my tranny so Iwanted to put in the EX for the different gearing. Is there a better alternative than this for a quicker gearing/ better performing tranny without swapping the motor?
