Default Buzzing sound coming from subs

on my girl's car. She had the system installed from this dude that has his shop but the amp and subs werent of good quality and there was that same buzzing sound so we sold the amps and subs. Got a new amp and subs and I installed it since its basically just a hook up and play kinda deal that anyone can do, but the damn thing still buzzes. We were told it was the "el cheapo" amp that was getting the noize.

The subs only buzz when the car is on and buzzes louder when its in drive idleling. We were told it is either a bad set of RCA's or that the RCA's and battery wires were run on the same side of the car, and I dont think that is it because the dude that installed it is so called a "professional." So what do you guys think it could be? Im leaning toward a bad set of RCA's but I dont know.

That's right. It happened with me before. I ran the RCA's and Power cord on the same side and it whines like hell. And yes I used a cheap ass RCA. Replace it with Rockford Fosgate White wolf and fixed the problem.

Update: I checked out the car and the wires werent run on the same side of the car. I wasnt about to mess with her stock radio so I took it to this one place by here and they found the problem: bad In/Out Converter behind the factory stereo, replaced it, and all is good now.
