Default Speaker Quality Question and deals on the sets

Hey all i was wondering if this is a good deal....
I got this friend who is selling Infinity Reference Components 6 1/2's and a Krunch *not sure if that was it* 350x2 amp for $240...while i got this other friend who is selling Eclipse 6 1/2's two ways and an eclipse 4 channel amp for 350....which deal would you think is best? I got 270 right now and i know i can get 80 dollars but then i don't know which would give me the best sound off my stock headunit...i'd like a clean sound that has decent bass

Interesting delema. I prefer the Infinity Referene Comps ... but Krunch? Never heard them. I've heard some Eclipse speakers before and didn't care for them... however I have heard Eclipse amp's that sound great. If the option were there I'd go with the Infinity speakers and the Eclipse amp... but I think what most people will tell you, is to listen to each one. Which setup sounds better to you? Keep in mind it'll sound diffrent to everyone and in diffrent cars. What I like in my car, may sound crappy in your car... and you may think it sounds crappy in mycar AND in your car.... maybe you'd like it.

Listen to each one, I'd base my decision on that.

Of course you could go and buy some brand new Infinity Reference Comps for $105 shipped. And then use the rest of your money to find a good amp to your likeing.

Amp for $100??????? = not a very good one.

Save an extra $50 and get a decent brand name amp dont buy the $100 amp it wont be worth it, but the speakers for $80 brand new aint bad, so take that.
