I just got off the phone with a woman that was crying on the phone because she can't afford the rental while her car is in for repairs. She was asking me what to do and I gave her 2 options. She was looking for some sort of sympathy, but there was none at all. When I first started I used to care, but after quite a few years I really don't care when a cust calls me up crying anymore. So yeah I guess I've turned into a heartless bastard, especially considering that I just joked with a few co-workers about the call.

I didn't care enough to ask, and I just talked to her on the phone so I don't know, but she was with her 8 month old child.

take the bus, having a car is a priviledge, you sould have told her that.

 

What'd she expect you to do? If someone doesn't have the cash, then why should they expect to use your services?
