I paid about $100 more for the wife's M1330 but it has far superior specs. :O

 

i have it. just got it a month ago.

it's pretty much perfect for school, easy to bring places, runs great.

i love it.

i think apple usually has some sort of deal right before school starts for students. this past fall they were including a free ipod with the purchase of a computer, he might want to wait to get that or somethin'. and once his kid gets their college email address, they'll be able to get at least a discount (not much for this one, i got $50 off h.
