Default HID System, Whatz the best?

Well, the title said it all. Has anyone heard what is the best HID system to install? Price Range? What voltage burns purple and blue? Or any information would be great. Thanks ALL!

Real HID's will run you anywhere from $400 on up. True HID's require ballasts to operate and are not plug in lights. The light output is measured in degrees Kelvin, the higher the temperature the more you get into ultraviolet range. If you get much above 5500* Kelvin you may actually loose some light as the road and other surfaces absorb the light. Also if you are seriously thinking about HID's you have to realize that the capsule is longer than the standard H1 capsule and that the focal point changes. The light no longer hits the reflector where it is designed to focus the beam. You will probably get a lot of people flashing their brights at you because you will be blinding them.

Thats funny about the focal point changing with TRUE HID'S, cause my best friend already gets people flashing there lights at him cause his lights are so bright. A true HID conversion is really a great setup, Phillips makes a great system. But its not cheap. OHH and those blue "white lights" are cheap, the dont last long, and if you touch the bulb with your bare finger..they will burn out extremely fast. It also looks gay IMO.

true HID's can be plug in kits, but they need the ballast.

Go with the Xenondepot kit or the 5000K kit from McCulloch.
