Default Can you tell me what this part is?

I was driving my 1990 Honda Accord when I started to hear a screetching sound. The car smoked and died. I looked under the hood and saw a pulley not spinning. I cut the belt on it and the car made it home after that without issue. The problem is I dont know what this part is. Can anyone help Identify the part i circled in red? http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq293/AMCJUNGLE2/Engine.jpg

Yeah, it's fine to drive without power steering, just not as easy. My PS pump seized up on my '93 once, I had to replace it. It's not expensive, I think around $50 for a rebuilt pump. Why haven't you had power steering for awhile?
