Default 1990 accord AUTO brake warning lamp issue

Hey folks,

I have a 1990 accord and my temp gauge works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, but when it doesn't, the brake lamp warning indicator comes on. I don't think it comes on at all when the temp guage works. Any body have any ideas for me? I hate lights on on the dash when I'm driving!

This accord has 250,000 miles and runs great!HELP< PLEASE!!!!

Feel free to write to me also at ghoff_210@hotmail.com

my brake light is on but thats because for some reason my CMHSL doesn't want to turn on even with a new bulb. I'm also pretty sure they are on two completely different circuits so i doubt wires could cross and cause that issue. Could be somethign behind the cluster. I haven't driven the accord in a few weeks now, do the brake light and the temp light sit next to each other?

Default Yes the light and the gauge

The gauge sits above and to the right of the brake warning lamp indicator, but they are in the same circular cluster.

sound like you have a loose ground in the wiring.
