Default 2000 TL tranny question

my mom has a 2000 TL and i was drivin it the other day and i had it in reverse and i stoped to put it in drive but it took awhile for it to go in gear is this normal or does it have to do with that tranny recall/warrenty thing goin on ????

It's normal, especially when the car is cold. Unless your tranny is slipping it shifts through the gears, your tranny is probably fine.

it does it all the time even if its hot....but your prolly right thanx man.
