Default Driving with a suspended license?

So my license expires this Saturday. I went to get it renewed in mid June but the person renewing it noticed I had a problem with my hand and basically flagged me and sent me to driver safety office. They sent me forms to have filled out by my docs which I did and sent back 3 weeks ago. now I'm just waiting. I also sent them a drivers safety course documents I took with a driving instructor and therapist that my doctor paid for and required before she cleared me to drive again.

my question is, I'm going to Vegas next week, driving my car I intend to drive extra careful. But if I happen to get pulled over how lenient can I expect the officer to be with a license to be just a few days expired?

still fucked if you get pulled over though. Passport will get you into Casino and Bars etc because an expired DL is no longer valid ID.

truthfully its up to the cop, some will let you off some wont. some will tow your car some will just give you a ticket for driving on a suspended. the question you have to ask your self is can you risk that. i drove for about 2 years on a suspended and never got pulled over. another time i drove 3 years on a suspended got pulled over got car towed and had a big fine plus tow charges in that same time i got pulled over the cop was cool let me drive home and gave me a ticket for driving on a suspended had to pay a big fine.

just use that as your DL haha

u kno, if u're driving paranoid, your habits will change, even subliminally. cops see these things better than you'd think, so if you do drive anyway, against our advice, just keep that in mind.
