Default Western Union sucks!

Cliffs: My Dad is in New york right now!

I tried to send him some money online via western union.com (For some shoes)
While online it prompts me to call 1800 number.

Called 800 number
They ask me a series of question then decline my request

I then go to the bank, and noticed the still charged my card (which locked my money up that i was going to send)

Called them back mad as hell "they tell me it's going to take 12 hours before i get my money back":madr:

that fucking blows dude, I am sorry. fucking worst part is they got your 600 dollars for the next 12 hours.
was it because of the amount of money that you were transferring? i know back in the day the super market i worked at stopped taking sums over a certain amount of money for western union.

The only problem i've ever had with them was when i went to the store, and they said it wasn't there. Called my dad, and he said that it had been accepted But they ended up crediting him for it in the end, and doing an investigation on the store.

i never had any western union problems. and i dont think there is a limit on the amount. i have done over 3-5k transactions.
i think they increase the fee for doing the transfer for bigger amounts.
