Crap, double-booked! Lollapalooza w/ roommate & wedding reception w/ gf are same time
The weekend of Aug 1st - 3rd is Lollapalooza in Chicago. My roommate really wants to go and we've been talking about it for a while. He benefits from me going with him because we would stay at my Grandma's place there which is a great location.
My gf knew about this all along, and about 2 weeks ago asked me if I would go with her to some friend of hers wedding reception "a few weeks from now," not really telling me the date. I told her sure.
Today the gf enailed me about a couple details for that wedding and mentions the date. My reaction of course is, "oh shit that's the weekend of Lollapalooza."
I told both my roommate and my gf about the situation and proposed that I go with my roommate to Lollapalooza Friday afternoon so he can at least get to see Radiohead, then drive back Saturday morning so I can make it to the wedding. I kinda sorta didn't feel like going to all three days of Lolla anyway. Now the gf is telling me it's "ok" if I go to all of Lolla (yeah right) and my roommate says he "has to think about" if he just wants to do Friday.
What y'all think I should do?
