I recently gave up caffeine after having horrible stomach problems. Its been two months and while I had strong cravings for coffee or a coke the first week, I didn't have any sort of withdrawl or headaches that people talk about.

I was a heavy caffeine drinker, too. I am talking five to six sodas a day.

Anyone else not drink caffeine or trying not to drink much of it?

 

I haven't had a real soda in over 18 months.

coffee only occasionally.

although, i did just buy 6 rockstar zero carb. drank one so far, 5 more in the work fridge.

btw, that sugar in that 6 pack a day was probably fucking you up alot worse than the caffeine.

I can't quit it.

 

If I don't have my coffee at 4am...I'm dead the rest of the day.

 

I have a haital hernia and acid reflux. I've stopped drinking caffeine almost entirely. Wasn't hard. I drink rootbeer mainly now. Every now and again I have a coke or something.

 

I was having at least a 6 pack of coke a day easy prolly closer to 8 but i have been cutting back over the last week. One a day only at lunch time and i am doing good!

 

Cutting down on caffeine slowlyh: It has a hell of a half life and the headaches are horrible.

 

I usually have a coffee in the morning and diet pepsi w/ lunch then urine w/ dinner.
