Default Sewage Plant Name change on the ballot in San Francisco

Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco wants to rename the Oceanside Wastewater Treatment Facility as the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

They submitted a list of signatures to the San Francisco Department of Elections earlier this month, and as they say on their site:

The San Francisco Department of Elections has qualified our initiative to rename the sewage plant in honor of George W Bush for the Nov 4th general election. Mission Accomplished everyone! Stay tuned for more news ...

Many Republicans probably think this idea stinks. Perhaps they smell a rat. But the Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco could come out smelling like a rose if they get this passed.

I've worked on the design of several wastewater plants, I wouldn't mind having one named after me.
