Default Name Your Price

So I want to try Pricelines name your price thing, but I have a couple questions.

How cheap should I go? 50% too much? 40% too much? The tickets I want to do are 421 right now(After fees and shit)
What if I submit a bid, but then the tickets go up and I buy before they go up again in fear they won't take my bid, can I cancel my bid?
How long does it take to find out if I get the tickets or not?(I'm buying 1 and a half months in advance)

I have no clue how that shit works so any insight I provide would likely be false and misleading.

That said, I'd offer 65% of face value

Oh I see.
Well if I offer 20% off the price, and I get accepted they charge my card, so I can't cancel or anything.

Has anyone used this before?

Like I said, low ball them first and try. The lower you go, the less options you have for flight times/seats.

Hmm. The site was making it sound like it would take a while to tell me if my bid was accepted. It takes like 1 or 2 minutes.
I'm trying to see the cheapest I can get it.

Oh well. I couldn't get any tickets cheaper. Paid 431. Had I not forgotten last week I would have gotten them for 411.
I think the name your price might work better for tickets closer to the day. I didn't want to risk waiting and paying over 500 for the tickets though.
