Default why are trucks so expensive?

once upon a time, pickup trucks were the working mans vehicle... now you have to be friggin rich to buy one. even midsize trucks are like 30k now :eh: what the hell happened to those times...

sometimes i want to get another truck but the cost is insane... even a dakota/colorado is 30k... doesnt seem sensible when you can get something full size for only a few grand more

Used market on diesel trucks is about ready to go south big time so if you can afford the fuel look for them popping up a ton.

I am looking at buying two more within the next year.

Trucks were the working man's vehicle. Now, they're infused with all sorts of "luxury" items. (Premium audio, leather, limited slip, alloys, etc ...)

My buddy's old Silverado has an AM radio (FM was optional), along with crank windows and steel rims.

I wouldn't go so far as to call limited slip a "luxury item."

That other crap, I totally agree with.
