Default greports say gas is $7 a gallon after this summer

and by next year $12 a gallon if trend continues.

it makes me sad just thinking about that.

got to lvoe the greedy oil companies who care more about making a penny then helping their country. looks like this will kill the economy and country. feel bad for you people west of mississippi where everything is spread out more.

I'm gonna buy a 3-banger geo metro for $500 and weld in a roll cage h:

But in all seriousness, if gas gets that ridiculously expensive I think in the long run it'll be a good thing. It'll finally be enough motivation for the govt to start seriously endorsing alternative energy research. As for me, I'd just ride my bicycle to work h:

Oil companies know that they have America by the balls. There's nothing we can do. They've even somehow triggered the public to expect a raise in prices when just about anything in the world happens. (flood, tornado, missile attack, etc)
