i was damn near killed in my motorcycle wreck

jaw pretty much hurts all the f'n time, still have chronic neck problems that i doubt will ever go away, shoulder is still kinda FUBAR, & still have nerve damage in the lower right half of my face

all in all, considering i hit face-first into a tree at 60+ mph, guess that's not too bad

 

pic 1 was taken the night before the wreck...to give a scale to see how swollen my face was afterwards

pic 2-7 were taken the eve i got home from the ICU.....5 days after the wreck

 

takes alot to fuck up a fiberglass helmet this bad

i still have it & have plans to but a glass case to put it in....

 

bike was repairable, but i decided to let the insurance company keep it & not buy it back....even though i could've bought it cheap & repaired it for ~$1500

top of the curve was where i left the road. next pic shows view from the side of the road....pretty much solid tree-line. last pic is the x-ray of my jaw w/ the 2 metal plates w/ a total of 10 screws & you can see the chipped-out section of jaw-bone on the right-side of the pic

 

how did u get the digital copy of ur xray? i've always wanted one of my chest

i asked the x-ray tech for a copy of the x-ray & then took it to kinkos & had it scanned

 

hmmm i'll have to try that next timer i go to the doctors,

 

kindof look like spanky here :chuckles:
