I am haveing a problem with my 94 civic. the motor blew (d16z6)so i put a new motor and tranns in it. The new motor is a jdm d15b vtec i got a new tanny . The motor came with differant intake manifold so i put a skunk2 intake manifold ,throttle body, aem intake on it. All those parts were for a d16z6. i went to start it and it revs up and down . When i press the gas it bougs down. i can not find a vaccum leak.help me if you can

 

it shouldnt have anything to do with the intake manifold or throttle body because all d series parts are interchangeable. it might be a sensor on the intake manifold somewhere. Check all that and also the throttle position sensor on the back of the manifold might be a problem. My buddy had an idling problem in his hatch and it was the throttle position sensor and the little screw under the circle on the front of the throttle body that adjusts the idle. hope that helps a lil. good luck
