94 Civic to 96 front end how-to page?
Anyone know if a page exists that shows a step by step of how to put a 6th gen civic front end on a 5th gen civic. My cousin and I are going to be doing it in a while for someone. We know how to do it, but my cousin has never done anything like this on newer cars, just old trucks and stuff. So we're wondering if anyone knows of a page that someone made showing any pitfalls or anything that they've ran into. We compared my car (00 civic) to my cousin's car (94 civic) the other day and took a lot of measurements. Everything looks like it will work, but we were wondering if there was someone out there that has a page explaining every little detail/problem.
Pictures speak louder than words, so here's a 92 with an 00 front end

And we know that we have to cut the front part of the 5th gen fender off and mold the front part of the 6th gen fender to it and stuff like that so don't tell me what I need to do cause I already know. I'm just trying to find someont that has already done it, or if there's a how-to page somewhere explaining all the little details. Thanx

i saw a site where some guys cut off the front half of each fender, then welded the front half of the 6th gen to the rest of the 5th gen fender. i think there was more to it than that though. :dunno:
i'll see if i can find that site.

maybe go to a body shop and ask them how they do conversions like that. :dunno:

The import scene isn't that great where I'm from, so I doubt any body shops would know what I want to know. My cousin owns a shop and him and I are going to do this for a friend and we're just lookin' for little problems that we might run into.
Color is a bit off, front end conversion is trick and all, but doesn't really do anything as far as going with the rest of the kit... and it appears to be growing white moldy all over :eh:
