Default What would you pay for this setup?

1995 B16A3 Motor w/ the following mods on it.

Red valve cover w/ moon cut
Stage 2 port/polish
Spoon camshafts
Skunk 2 cam gears
Skunk 2 valve springs
Skunk 2 titanium retainers
ARP Head Studs
Mugen Head Gasket
Type R tranny w/ LSD
Centerforce dual friction clutch
Axles
Wire Harness
JDM P30 ECU (VTEC crossover @ 5800RPM's / Rev limit @ 8500RPM's)
APEXi VAFC

I am going to end up selling this setup exactly as it is. My 2000 Civic was totalled. I know it's worth at least 5500. Just want to know what I could get for it.

I thought a 95 b16a3 was already obd1.....

I dunno.... Even though you have what you have invested, I'd say you'll be lucky to get half or a little over that....

Post this in the Hybrid forum because they're more familiar with this sort of stuff...

You put 5500 for it. I would not spend that much.
Might be better to part out.

I wish I had the money, but maybe $4000-$5000 would be fair.

I'd give about 3500 for it. You're better to part it out. You also forgot to tell us how many miles are on this beast.

You could always try to get the companies to take back the parts and get a full refund Probably get more doing that if it would work.

I don't know exactly how many miles are on it, I put about 10k on it though. I never bought the motor like this. Over time I had bought various upgrades. I know the spoon camshafts alone are worth $750. Valve Springs and Retainers are worth $500. The tranny is worth $1200-1400 (I know the tranny has about 20k miles on it since I got it from a type r that had less than 20k and I had just put it in about 1 month ago). The cam gears are worth $175. Vafc wasn't even used more than 2 weeks and that is worth $400. If you paid labor to have a lot of these parts installed (in the case that you didn't have the tools or expertise to do it yourself) you would pay a grip in labor. Since I would be selling it all as a whole, the money you save in labor is substantial.
