i am looking to buy a stock ITR muffler.

i was going to order through the dealer, but they told me that the polish tip was not included.

ive always thought that the polished tip was welded on.

can anyone confirm this? also, if you have your stock muffler for sale, let me know.

What is your dealer talking about? The tip certainly isn't *bolted* onto the muffler, it's part of it.

 

the tip is bolted on to the stock muffler, i have mine and its for sale, make me an offer....

It's welded to the muffler on my stock 'R exhaust...

 

we have five of them here at the dealer i work for and all of them are bolt on tips, just like the gsr and the ls.....mabey they changed them, what year is yours.......mine is an 01

 

What part number do you guys have is it 18030-ST7-Z61?

i ordered from the dealer. the tip is welded on. and theres also an additional tip inside of that polish tip.

i called 3 different dealers asking them, none were 100% sure.

so i just ordered and hoped for the best.

the new one should be here by tuesday. :thumbup:

no link, i just got it at a local dealer.

$280 unshipped and untaxed or $200 OTD through a friend.:thumbup:

 

I think it depends on year... all the tips I've seen bolt on.
