went from paying 800 to getting back ~400 from my wife's mary kay (or lack thereof)

we were going to have to pay 800 to feds but we remembered we could deduct her car mileage and cell phone so we got lucky :rofl:

apparently i changed my withholdings and forgot to change them back. i need to fix that

 

I got $90~ back from state





















but I owed $160~ to federal

don't use numbers like 500 and 1000 etc... zeros = audit

 

when i worked for the company as a salesman i put all my mileage as work related ... anywhere from 15k to 25k miles a year and never an audit
