Default 94 Civic hatch - ny

For sale is a 1994 Honda civic dx hatchback.
1.6 liter, 4 cylinder, VTEC motor, automatic transmission. No stereo/speakers . The previous owner decided Green would be a great color to put on the inside, so its got a black/green color scheme inside – it does work.

The car has minor blemishes on the inside, and the driver side seat has a small tear (on the side). The car has one rust spot up front – on the hood, and the typical rust around the rear quarter panels.

For the Details:
d16z6 motor / wiring harness
4 speed automatic transmission - still shifts smooth and fine.
ALL Fluids were changed yearly
221,XXX miles on body
100,XXX approx on motor - from a '93 civic si *does not burn oil*
130,XXX approx on transmission - from a '94 civic ex
p06 ecu chipped for vtec

Red in color.
Runs and starts every time.

New Heater core hose
New headlight plugs
New Head gasket
New Timing Belt
New intake manifold gasket
New Throttle body gasket

New rear struts (driver side installed, passengers need to be done) New upper control arm (rear driver side)
Newer Lower control arms (front)
New rear bumper
New oil pan gasket
New Ignition coil
New Ignition module
Front Brakes were changed in April of ’07 (New pads/rotors)
Rear Brakes were changed in August of ’07 (machined drums, new pads/spring hardware)
Emergency Brake is functional and works.
The car is debadged all around, with the exception of the honda logo on the rear hatch
The car is inspected until april of '08 (red sticker)
To be re-inspected: someone would need to replace the windshield and nut/bolt the rear, and throw newer tires on the rear. That’s it – All lights work, and everything is as it should.
5 rims (4 on car + 1 full size spare rim) Hankook 175/70/13 on rear, starfire 175/70/13 on front - all silver matching rims
Car also has a 3" tachometer installed on the pillar (not in view of road, nor a rice-ish tach.)

The bad:
1) The car was hit in January of last year - Damage was done to the rear driver side. The damage was limited to a rim, trailing arm bushing, upper control arm and a strut, a spring and sheet metal damage. No frame damage - still straight. I have the strut for the other side, just never had time to put it in. (see picture)
2) The car needs an alignment
3) The car also needs a front windshield. The windshield has a crack in it the runs the entire legnth of the windshield (horizontally)
4) The bolt on the strut (rear driver side) has broken off on one side. it could be drilled out and nut and bolted in under 5 minutes.
5) cosmetically the car could use some work. The rear bumper and hood are red primer. The hood doesn't look horrible, but the rear bumper isnt pretty. When the car is clean, it still holds a good shine.
6) The Power steering pump pulley is bent, (and you can feel the bent pulley at 25-30 mph, but that it) I will include one with the car if you like.
7) It leaks a little oil. I replaced the oil pan gasket thinking that it was the issue , but i found out it leaks from the oil pressure sending unit. Again i have one to include, it just needs to be installed. (the car uses 1qt/week - but does not burn oil)
8) the radiator top mount broke, and is currently zip tied. It works, but at sometime it would need to be drilled/tapped. (see engine picture)

*I still have a 5 speed Tranny and a few other conversion parts that could be included for another $50

850 Or best offer (900 with 5 speed tranny) - (Possible trades?)

This car could be good for parts, or for a DD like i used it for, it's a solid car.
I can't afford to keep both my si and my dx on my insurance, so i had to choose... The SI was already 5 speed so it won.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to pm me.

The car is Located 30 minutes from troy Ny, 45 from albany.
