1998 gsr head with a b16a block /timeing problume

Default 1998 gsr head with a b16a block /timeing problume

ok i have fuel and spark but every time i line up the timeing marks does not run jest back fires i cant seem to get it in time ./ also which craink gair shood i use the b16a or the gsr. and this swap is in a 1991 ls

the ecu is a p06

A p06 ecu is a non vtec ecu-- unless you had it socketed and added the components to make it vtec enabled. What distributor are you running on the head?

also--- what timing belt did you use?

the distributor is the gsr and the timing si the b16a

also i heard that i will hafta chip the po6 and i will hafta take the butterflys out of the intake to work with the po6 is this true

also will the LS pr4 ecu and distributor work on the gsr? cause i have spark with this satup but does not run

also the car is a 1991 integra could this be the problum ,i hope not cause this is my only car

i switched too a p28 ecu mabey this will help

Have you done a valve adjustment? are you lining up the timing mark on the cam gears and crank? you should also be using the gsr timing belt now. i don't think the crank gear is going to make a difference. have you ever built a motor before, because if not this going to be kinda difficult to explain!!

the ecu and dizzy will not work, you need a gsr dizzy and p72 ecu or a p28 socketted and chipped. which wiring harness are you using?? what intake manifold do you have??

ok using the p28 i have spark with the gsr distrbuter
the p28 is not chipped yet
no the valve ajustment has not ben done yet
and im using the b16a timeing belt cuz the gsr is to long
the intake is the 1998 gsr
the wiering is ths stock 1991 integra ls
