I'm driving local and I know that Highway will be more buy I'm expecting the least ie 250 mpg. No check engine light.

I got Engine check light 20 days back because of EGR valve combustion problem and the code is PO401 and got serviced with a dealer.
Please help me

Have you done a recent tune up? Replace your Fuel Filter thats the most overlooked part and its super important. The EGR is an emissions control unit so could affect MPG also. How many miles on your TL?

i drove 180 miles this past couples days and it took up a full tank of gas in my car. 10 gallon tank i believe in a 94 eg? it has a b18 ls swap automatic which is supposed to get around 26-27 mpg and since its in the eg should get a little better and i figure out i get around 18-20 mpg how would i go about fixing it to get the gas mileage i want(going to a manual transmission soon if that matters.)

its been like this for awhile i actually just started caring about how much i get out of my gas this weekend when i drove 4 hours highway. are there codes for my engine ecu with the automatic transmission i can get before i switch to a manual transmission in like 5-6 months.

sorry to steal the thread

go to your local autostore and get the Chevron Techron Fuel Injection System cleaner, change your air filter if you haven't done so.
