Default wastegate

i need help with a problem i got with the external wastegate....well the pipe on the manifold makes the wastegate go to the same side as the intake for the turbo...should i cut and change it to the other side of the turbo on the exhuast side of it or should i just bend the dump pipe a little so it wont be in the way of the intake?

Sucking up vented wastegate gases back into the motor will cause substantial power loss. Get the pipe far from the intake filter.
