the car i recently bought is runing a little rough and i just dont have the time to sit down and test everything... it idles a little wierd and the idle stays at 1500 when i am in neutral and when i come so a complete stop then the idle goes back to normal i need a little help and i think i have a misfire at idle....

 

oh lordy....tell us more about the car.....do you have any kind of engine management? hondata,chrome,aem etc?

 

no stock gsr with a greddy turbo kit at stock settings at 3 psi it ran fine until the headgasket was replaced

 

So on initial start up it stays around 1500 rpm? Or just neutral in general? If it goes back down when you come to a complete stop, for some reason I want to say it's the idle air control valve.

Did the Greddy turbo kit come with atleast e-manage?

 

kit should have come with at least the blue box.

 

i am stil waiting on my honda data.. ok when i start my car is at 1500 rpms then when its at operating temp it idles normaly. then when iam driving around and i put the clutch the rpms stay at 1500 till i come to a complete stop... as i said in my other post it ran fine before the head gasket was replaced, iam thinking it could be air in coolant or vacuum leak or just a simple iacv or the the thermal valve i forget wat its called
