just got the motor together and put in the crx and went to turn it over and...... it knocks but only in the #1 piston area so...... took the head off and no visable damage to the head or the top of the piston so..... i took off the oil pan and checked the rod bolts all tight and nothin looks bent or loose so...... now here i am need the car for work....oh yea the car did not do this "knock" till i canged the cam gears from some AEM adjustable ones to oem gsr ones that turned out to be to big or bent or something they wobbled and would'nt tightin all the way down.......any help would be great.....thanks

 

could be a bent valve? did you correctly adjust your timing when you switch cam gears? What cams are you using??
