what is the biggest engine i can put in my hatch
i dont yet have a hatch but i am looking for a 88-91 civic HB. what is the biggest motor they make a swap for into that car? I dont want to make mounts so the biggest motor that they make swap kits for. thanks

If you don't want to cut your hood get a JDM B16A, B18C1 GSR/B18C5 Type R. You know you'll need motor mounts etc. Also keep in mind 88-91 Civics/Crx's are cable driven. I have a Jdm B16A & love it. Not the most torque but I'd drive my Gsr when I want more torque.
