I just picked up a 1995 del sol 1.6 sohc yesturday and it was stalling out when i stopped at the lights.. went to the auto zone and picked up a new cap and rotor plugs and wires... put them on last night and now it won't start..WTF!! I checked the firing order, put the old stuff back on. minus the plugs and wires -- made sure all the connections were tight about 5 times and now i'm going nuts!! it ran fine except for a little stalling.. Its my first Honda and to do a little tune up and this??? please give me a little help

Check the firing order on the plugs one more time. I've replaced many and the last time I did it the wires were crossed and I didn't notice.

Did you disconnect anything else when you removed the cap and rotor?

Replace the coil.

Right after cleaning up the connections under the cap is when my coil died, started up and idled fine for 5 sec. before it died.

If you want to make sure I could give you the resistance to check for on the coil.
